OK, were YOU at the show last week?  If not, you may not have seen the two new members of The Curiously Strong Peppermints...

Mason Butler (guitars, keyboards, backing vocals) has already contributed tracks for 'Endless Fields of Poppy' and he's played in bands with both Jesse and Scott. Emily Tenczar (drums, backing vocals) is an old friend of everyone and she's formerly of Stained Glass Rabbit, Shut Me Up and The Cancer Kids.  Welcome them to the Peppermints family!

I updated our links section with more than just three links, including URLs to a few on-line comps we've been on as well as related bands and sideprojects of our band members and common contributers.  I've also added the artwork for "Endless Fields of Poppy" as pdf files for you to download and print if you still believe in the CD medium.  I also fixed several bugs and typos that I hope went otherwise unnoticed! 

Hello folks.  Notice anything different?  Our awesomely lo-fi website got a facelift.  Not a hi-fi facelist, but a facelift in general.  After nearly a three year haitus, The Curiously Strong Peppermints are back to make up for lost time. 

Our debut album, Endless Fields of Poppy, is finially finished.  It contains songs you've never heard as well as totally remixed/improved versions of songs you have heard.  Most importantly, it's bundled together in a 45-minute psychedelic-pop oddyssey.  We suggest listening through headphones.  To abide by popular trends in the music industry (and because we don't have the $$$ for mastering, pressing and distrobution) we will be releasing this exclusevely on-line through aimeestreet.com and soundclick.com on November 3rd, 2009.  If you are an audiophile who prefers a lossless version of the album, simply contact us. 

We are also constructing a live band to promote the album and to perform around the midwest.  Stay tuned for tourdates.
